Delete your account

How to delete it

1. Sign in to Canidary.
2. Press the Settings gear at the top of any page, then Account settings.
3. Press Deactivate or delete, then Delete my account.
4. Type your email and password, and press Delete my account.

If you are the only President of a club, make someone else President, or delete the club, first.

Forgot your password? Reset it first.

Sign in to delete your account

Take a break instead

Press Deactivate my account there instead. You are signed out and your clubs show that you left, but nothing is deleted. Sign in with your password any time to come back.

What happens then

• You are signed out on every device, and each of your clubs shows that you left.
• Your account is deleted for good 30 days later. Until then, signing in with your password keeps it.
• An email to your address then tells you it is done.
• Once it is deleted for good, your name, email, photos, profiles and memories of the club’s dogs are erased. Each club keeps its own records, such as shifts, logs and announcements, under Former member.
• Reports you sent or were reported in keep their record, without your words or photos.
• If a backup is ever restored, accounts deleted before are erased again.

Delete a club

The President can delete the whole club from the Club page. It is deleted for good 30 days later, and until then the President can restore it from Your clubs.
